The Early Reading and Music Partnership

This book provides a vital overview of what we now know about neuromusicology- the recent scientific research that supports the view that learning music and learning to read are complementary and mutually supportive cognitive processes. The text and accompanying PETAA website and complementary digital resources contain a plethora of tried and tested teaching strategies and activities that engage young learners, collected and collated over my professional lifetime in schools. The Early Reading and Music Partnership enhances the acquisition of early language skills that support early readers as they begin their journey of the highest gravitas, learning to become successful readers.
